Arthritis Care-

Swanwick Lions have supported the charity 'Arthritis Care' through our Easter egg competition a few years ago.

'Arthritis Care' assist arthritis sufferers to find ways of taking back control of their lives by managing pain. The charity organises free courses and workshops to empower participants tom become more active, meet new friends, and return to employment.

Family and Youth work:- Contrary to popular opinion, arthritis is not just an older person's disease. Children and young people can suffer from juvenile idiopathic arthritis. (J.I.A.) Arthritis Care's family and youth work service exists to provide information and support to younger people with arthritis, and their families.
